    Situated about 500 metres from North Street Gardens and a mere 0.7 km from the National Railway Museum, the 5-star The Grand, York Hotel welcomes guests with a wellness centre. An indoor pool as well as a steam room, a Jacuzzi, and a sauna are available for you at the hotel, located only steps away from York Museum Botanical Gardens.

    The history museum "Merchant Adventurers' Hall" is within a 1-km distance of this York hotel, and Dean's Park is just 11 minutes' walk from it. The Grand, York offers proximity to such natural sights as the 20-acre Rowntree Park (1.4 km) and the York City Walls (0.9 km). There is the historical place museum "York City Walls" 13 minutes' stroll away, and Piccadilly bus station is within a few blocks of the accommodation.

    The Grand in York is a truly exceptional hotel with top-notch service that left me and my wife in awe. From the warm welcome at the door to the luxurious room and exquisite breakfast, every detail was perfect. the central location allowed us to easily explore the city and the surrounding attractions. We especially loved the peaceful surroundings and the beautiful decor that perfectly complemented the historic building. Overall, our stay at the Grand was by far the best we've experienced in the UK. Thank you to the wonderful staff for an amazing visit!
